Comptometer is customizable calculator app that allows the end user to work both decimal or fraction and there choosing. Now working in customary unit of lengths is pretty unique for a calculator app, but there more. Comptometer allow the user to store there own formulas and customize it keyboard to implement said formulas. There even a one off feature call pitch that allow the user to see the rod length over the run of a pipe.
Imperial or Customary Units of Length are ways to describe a inches and fraction of inch. This where Comptometer differs from other calculators app. Where other apps bog you down with a traditional style calculator interface comptometer allow you to convert between fraction and decimal values with easy. In fact you can set comptometer to automaticaly display as just units of length. Using just single hand gesture you can switch from entering decimal values to enter feet, inches and fractions all in one line.
Formulas is another way the Comptometer stand out from the pack. Unlock other apps that lock you in to using a traditional style calculator interface. Comptometer allow you to create and assign your own custom math formulas. They can be as simple as math function or the more complicated math operation.
Comptometer allow you to assign Formulas to non primary keys. A primary are the addition, division, equals, esc. Changing a key is simple, when in the customized setting you be presented with a representation of comptometer keyboard. Tap a key that you want changed and then you will be presented with menu to choose a new formula to be assigned.

Comptometer was originally created by local 638 Steamfitter as a proprietary software, and was limited functions to that trade. Comptometer has since evolved to be open to all trades by the introduction of DDMath Phrases by Dave DeLong, and expansion of the calculator abilities itself. .
